Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL)
Water for Women tracks progress as part of a broader Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) system that is overseen by the Fund Coordinator team. All progress data presented is based on Fund CSO project monitoring and reporting. Fund MEL is guided by a comprehensive MEL Framework, which draws on a range of quantitative and qualitative data sources and evidence to support learning and accountability for the Fund in accordance with DFAT Design, Monitoring and Evaluation Standards. WASH data is informed by the WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme indicators.
Fund targets in (i) are based on partner Civil Society Organisations (CSO) project baseline studies. Project targets are updated periodically in response to changes in context as appropriate.
