World Water Week @ home begins today!

200824-WWWeekatHome

There is a veritable fountain of water sector knowledge & learning bursting forth across the globe this week and you can join in from the comfort of your own couch for this year’s SIWI World Water Week @ home!

Following the cancellation of the 2020 event that would have been happening now in Stockholm, SIWI’s #WWWeek at home event will host an impressive 120 sessions virtually across the globe throughout the week, ensuring it remains a truly global water event.

There is a fantastic line up of sessions around the 2020 theme: Water and Climate Change: Accelerating Action as well as the impact of COVID-19 which will provide the WASH sector with some critical learning opportunities.

What are the lessons from Covid-19? Convergence of sanitation and the climate crisis, and what can businesses do to improve their water resilience? These are just some of the themes that will be looked at throughout the week. See the full programme here.

Water for Women partners will be participating in sessions throughout the week, below we have listed several sessions our partners will be leading or participating in, however, there are many more on offer related to some important themes and approaches of Water for Women, so it is well worth reviewing the schedule. Please note some sessions are closed to participants, but many remain open and accessible throughout the week (tip: search by tags to find events related to a theme).

Happy learning!
