In Papua New Guinea, our partners Plan International and Live & Learn worked quickly to develop and distribute health and prevention awareness materials that were effective, engaging and tailored to the local context of Papua New Guinea. These materials have been distributed across the regions they are operating in communities, schools and health clinics to support awareness of the risks of COVID-19 and how to prevent its spread. It has been wonderful to see the care taken to ensure that communications and prevention materials are inclusive and represent the diversity of people that live within these communities.

They are also prioritising infrastructure improvements to WASH facilities in schools and health care facilities as part of their Water for Women project.
