Disability Inclusive WASH in the COVID-19 Response

In 2020, an independent evaluation of disability inclusion within the DFAT-funded Disaster READY program is being conducted. Based on the early findings, practical guidance has been developed for disability inclusion within the priority sectors of Health, WASH, and Livelihoods and Food Security. This guidance is aimed at both Disaster READY and COVID-19 response work.

This thematic guidance note has been developed by Australian Humanitarian Partnership and Australian Aid, to guide practitioners in disability-inclusive COVID-19 response and recovery issues and strategies.

It draws on expertise from Water for Women and partners along with many other valuable resources.
