CBM Build Back a Better World For All

Friday December 3rd is International Day of People with Disabilities (IDPD).
Over the past two years, the global COVID-19 pandemic has devastated people with disabilities around the world. People with disabilities have had less access to vaccines and critical health information, have been cut off from their vital aides and supports, faced greater job losses and experienced more food insecurity and hunger than people without disabilities.
Watch now, CBM's compelling new International Day video where we speak to people with disabilities from across our region. Their message is clear - it’s time to build a world where people with disabilities are fully included, in all recovery efforts and decision making.
Complementing this launch are two valuable resources, a CBM and ADDC joint publication Leave No One Behind: Disability inclusion in Australia’s COVID-19 development response, analysing the impact of COVID-19 in our region, and a CBM IDPWD Resource Kit which can be downloaded below.
CBM is supporting Water for Women partners to help improve the lives of people with disabilities across Asia and the Pacific.
